El voluntario es figura de apoyo y ayuda en el trabajo de todos los días en la guardería. Esto incluye ayudar en el taller de bellas artes, clases de pintura, taller de teatro, jugar con los niños en las actividades de tiempo libre (el voluntario tiene la oportunidad de hacer su propio taller), ayudando a los profesores a preparar los materiales y el espacio para las actividades, la recogida de los mismos después de las actividades, evitar conflictos entre los niños, asegurarse que los niños cumplan con las reglas de la guardería, prestar atención a los niños mas agresivos, y ayudar en la cocina.

PROYECTO 2:

Centre of creative work with children (Municipality of Xylokastro-Evrostini)

El Voluntario proporcionará apoyo adicional y ayudar en el trabajo diario del Centro de Trabajo creativo con niños. Esto incluye ayudar en los talleres / juegos teatrales, teatro con títeres) taller de música ( juegos-musicales, historias de sonido, cantando, tocando instrumentos musicales) y el taller de bellas artes (los voluntarios trabajarán en el campo de la artesanía, utilizando diferentes tipos de materiales tales como arcilla, cal, etc, que ayudará a los niños a realizar construcciones, collages, pinturas, etc.)

Los voluntarios jugará con los niños en las actividades de tiempo libre, ayudarán a los maestros para preparar los materiales y el espacio para las actividades, recogiendo después de las actividades, evitando conflictos entre los niños, prestando atención a los niños agresivos.

PROYECTO 3:

Informative activities and equal opportunities       EI. 2011-GR-20

Este proyecto se lleva a cabo en las oficinas de información juvenil de la organización en Xylokastro y Vocha-Velo.

A través de estas oficinas queremos mostrar las posibilidades a los jóvenes de la región entre los 16 y 30 años, incluso actividades de voluntariado. Las actividades incluyen trabajos en las oficinas de información. Los voluntarios participan en las presentaciones en las escuelas, la promoción de las actividades de las oficinas de información, el trabajo de oficina y la coordinación de los proyectos de Erasmus+, proyecto de medios de comunicación como un video sobre los voluntarios europeos, el trabajo en foros sobre EVS y creación de contenidos en las redes sociales como Facebook, Twitter, etc ..

El grupo destinatario de este programa es la gente de edad avanzada con necesidades especiales que necesitan ayuda, tienen un problema con su salud, con la condición física de su cuerpo, que no puede hacer las actividades de la vida cotidiana por sí mismos (cocinar, limpiar, lavar, ir de compras , etc). Los voluntarios pueden ayudar a que seamos capaces de dar ayuda a la gente más mayor.

Participarán en visitas de ayuda en los hogares de las personas mayores, para cuidar de ellos, prestando atención (traer las medicinas, los alimentos, limpiar la casa, cocinar para ellos, pagar las facturas, etc), además, los voluntarios ayudan en el centro de ancianos.

Vacantes EVS en Italia, último día de plazo!

After the official launch of the new Erasmus+ program (in which EVS is included) InCo is ready for the first deadline of the year. We have the placements listed below. They are all long-term projects (meaning activities of 12 months starting in September 2014).

Please check specific details about each host organization using the EI number in the EVS database:

• Azienda Servizi Sociali di Bolzano (ASSB): EI>> 2012-IT-36 (2 vacancies available). Bolzano is a bilingual city (Italian and German are official languages and used in everyday life). Activities with elderly people.
• Civica di Trento: EI>> 2013-IT-64 (2 vacancies available). Project located in Trento. Activities with elderly people.

ATTENTION regarding activities with elderly people: please consider that it’s not the same as spending an afternoon with your grandmother! It’s a very beautiful project and there is space to develop own ideas and initiatives but the life of elderly people also involves sometimes loneliness, illness, dementia and death (so you have to be open an prepared to this).

1) contact your sending organization (we won’t accept application done by volunteers directly, only through sending organizations!); (en éste caso Mundus)

2) get in deep information about EVS and its conditions; read as much as possible about the host organization in which you are interested on and the city in which it’s located, verifying so if it really matches with your ideas/dreams of experience abroad;

3) discuss the opportunity with your sending organization checking about the opportunity offered and your expectations. Matching profile and opportunities are essential to guarantee a nice service for you! In case of doubts, give us a call! We will be happy to help.

4) ask to your sending organization to send us an email with your application as it follows (we won’t accept application done by volunteers directly, only through sending organizations!):

>>email’s subject must be: «EVS application InCo: NAME OF THE HOST ORGANIZATION», so, for example: «EVS application InCo: Caritas» (emails without the specific subject won’t be included in the selection process).

>> their contact details as well astheir EI number

>> one paragraph with their evaluation about you and how does the activity match with your profile

>> your specific motivation letter (mentioning the HO and specific activities related). Please notice that general motivation letter won’t be considered! It’svery important you to highlight: why are you interested in this specific kind of activity (not in EVS in general); what do you think you could learn; which could be the difficulties you could face; how do you think you can contribute to the HO.

Proyecto aprobado – Hungría 12 meses

We urgently look for an approved and financed project for a Spanish volunteer to join a kindergarden project.

The project starts in February 2014, latest in March 2014 and lasts for 1 year in Hungary, close to the capital.

 

The volunteer will work with kids aged 1-5 in a kindergarden and nursery school.

This includes training courses, summer camps and a lot of practical work.

 

Organization: Babuka Nonprofit Kft.   is located in the northern part of Pest county. The inner area of the town is located in the Zsámbék Basin, it is surrounded by the Buda Hills. Population: about 13.000 people. 20 kms away from Budapest.

The organization intend to host 3 volunteers at the same time. 

   

The Organization can provide living in the building of the day care centre (kindergarden). It is a very safe area surrounded by family houses. The working environment is established based on the needs of children. Among the colleagues they established a friendy atmosphere. Internet can be reached from the day care centre but also from public places. The project leader speaks fluent English and German, one of the nurses learns English. They can provide Hungarian language courses at the easiest in Budapest  either with private teacher or in a group, depending on the preference of the volunteers.

EVS Project ”Active Education=Effective Social Change” POLONIA

Activities dates: beggining of January – 30^th June 2014

Places of work: Youth Culture Houses in Piekary Śląskie, Tarnowskie Góry

Vocal Trade High School in Katowice, Foundation “Guardian Angels’ House” in Katowice, promotional meetings (workshops, events) with youth and adults in Ożarowice, Niezdara.

Working days: Monday – Friday (sometimes weekends too – depends on the period of events and actions), usually from 1 pm until 7 pm – language classes included

Transportation: We provide season bus and tram tickets for volunteers valid in the “GOP” area (main cities: Katowice, Tarnowskie Góry, Piekary Śląskie, Bytom, Będzin, Dąbrowa Górnicza, Mysłowice and villages in the neibourhood)

Accomodation: 4 volunteers will live in 1 full equiped flat situated in Tarnowskie Góry, 2 of them share a room

100% Travel amount: (Volunteers are obliged to cover 10% of the travel amount)

Volunteers with organisations are asked to find the cheapest way of transport, send to us the proposal of travelling (link to web site) and we’ll buy it for the volunteers.

Work specification:

Volunteers will work with children and youngsters (up to 18 year) – they will help to lead classes aready existing in YCHs  and institutions in Katowice, but also their own. That’s why creativity, artistic, language and social skills are very much needed in the future volunteers. Volunteers will help to organise meetings, events, workshops and actions which main topics will be: interculturality, YiA, promotion of their own countries, folkloure, european citizenship, identity etc.

They’ll be responsible for taking care of association’s web sites and also preparing posters, invitations and other needed promotional materials.

We need volunteers who are open, energetic, active, creative, talented in many ways, with good organisational skills, with “initiative” and own ideas 😀 Volunteers who “add wings” to the others – just like we do!

 

LAST MINUTE SVE Belgica

Pinnochio is a child care center. They gather children from 0 till 3 years. The volunteer will take care of the children together with the staff. The volunteer will always work together with staffmembers in a group.
The mission of Pinnochio is as following:
Pinnochio is surrected for children whose parents work outside the house. In this situation the parents cannot look after their children during the day.
All children between 0 and 3 years old are welcome, every day from monday till friday from 7 o’clock in the morning till 6.30 in the evening.
Their attempt is to organise daycare that is oriented at the child and the family. The needs of the children are their main concern.
All children are welcome whatever their origin, race, life philosophy, cultural background.
Also children who are disabled are welcome.
They have all pedagogical qualities necessary for each individual child.
It is important that the children are feeling good and are happy.

The child care center is situated in a provincial town, named Peer. It is situated in the Dutch speaking north-eastern part of Belgium, in the province Limburg. Peer is known for its beautifull green environnement. The child care center is the only child care center in Peer. It is located in a green area, near the parc of the city. It is also near a home for elderly, with whom Pinnochio does a project together. Peer has no trainstation but other public transport is availabel.

The volunteer needs the necessary vaccinations. It is necessary that the volunteer brings a certificate of the doctor that he/she received this vaccinations. The vaccinations are:
– hepatitis A and B
– tetanus
– polio
– rubella
– mumps
The volunteer will need to undergo a medical examination for employment in Belgium. These are the same main conditions as the staff. This is obliged by the Belgium government because the volunteer will work with children.
AFS, the coordinating organisation, will provide a host family for the participant, as we strongly believe that this is the best introduction to the Flemish culture and a great opportunity to integrate in the local community. The host family will provide lodging and food. They will be living close to the project and will be Dutch-speaking. AFS encourages the host family to use Dutch as a communication language with the volunteer, to help him/her to practise the Dutch language.

• Bialystok is the centre of the region with a population of almost 300 thousand. The project will take a place there, at The Special Educational Center, which is located in the midtown of Bialystok and it is an important place for handicap and retarded children from all over the region. At school children can use things like: housework workshop, studio of Tomatis’s method therapy, experiencing the world studio, place for rehabilitation (gym, swimmingpool) etc.

Tasks

The volunteer will have a basic responsibility to assist the teacher at school. The volunteer will join the tasks, which encourage the students to grow emotionally, mentally, physically, socially and spiritually. To give an idea of the volunteer’s duties we mention here different sorts during the whole project: Assist/ conduct in social/ recreational programs for the students: at the boarding school: helping students doing their homework, doing crafts, watching movies together, playing games, quizzes, organizing common meetings like teatime, birthday parties, going out, taking part of different evening activities etc.

Criteria

We would like to host someone, who wants to help the others, who is open for new activities. Because the special center is a special organization, we would like to host someone who is not afraid of contact with mentally and physically handicapped. We are looking for someone interested in music (volunteer will assist music teacher), creative and open-minded.

Procedure

All interested people are asked to send us their CV. We’ll also ask to fill in the special form, containing more detailed questions about the motivation of the volunteer. The coordinating organization will pass them to the hosting organization. The final decision will be made by the stuff of the school involved in the project and working directly with the volunteers.
