Llamada a participantes al training ‘Pathway to inclusion’, 6-10 October 2014 en Holanda

WHAT?

In October 2014 we like to have a training and networking activity for organizations working with youngsters with fewer opportunities in order to meet potential partners and brainstorm about how to include our youngsters in projects under the new program Erasmus+. We would like to create a network with a cross-over youth care – education and develop new projects together.

Training and networking under the Erasmus+ program is an event organized with a view to allow participants to find partners for transnational co-operation and/or for project development.

 

WHY?

Especially when you work with youngsters with fewer opportunities you need good reliable partners with understanding of your target group. Aim of this activity is to find these partners and start working on project ideas within the possibilities of the new Erasmus+ program.

FOR WHO?

For people working or volunteering in organizations that:

– are working with youngsters with fewer opportunities, (potential) school dropouts and young job seekers or are willing to have projects with this target group – have experiences with Youth in Action projects/ or want to get experiences with the Erasmus+ program

– are looking for -strategic- partnerships to have these projects with

– are in the Erasmus+ program countries

COSTS

This project is funded by the Erasmus+ program. Board and lodging of the participants, as

well as all the cost of activities on the training will be fully covered. Travel costs will be paid.

 

Importante!

Los gastos de alojamiento y comida estarán cubiertos durante todo el proyecto, así como el importe de los vuelos con un máximo de 275 euros. 

Los participantes tan solo deberán  hacerse socios de Mundus (40 eur/año) con el derecho a participar en todas las actividades que Mundus organice.

Isaac Cano, un ex EVS envuelto en proyectos Europeos tras su EVS nos cuenta su historia:

«Después de mi Evs en Rumania, vinieron los intercambios juveniles , trainings y demás acciones de voluntariado incluidas en el programa Youth in Action, estos programas sirven para ofrecer a los jóvenes la oportunidad de conocer otras culturas, de compartir inquietudes similares y de crecer como personas.

En estos intercambios juveniles hay actividades multiculturales que giran sobre un tema en concreto como pueden ser el arte o el medio ambiente. Desde el 2014 ha entrado un nuevo programa que se llama Erasmus+ que substituye al anterior y tiene pequeños cambios como la introducción del nuevo programa de deportes entre otras muchas cosas. Y sigue ofreciendo muchas oportunidades para los jóvenes!»

Cluj-Napoca, 1^st of April 2014

„Support for Youth Development” Association from Cluj-Napoca announce the launching of the project „Empowering youth for sustainable business”, which will be held during the period of 15^th-23^rd May 2014. During these 8 days, 26 young participants from 5 different countries- Romania, Czech Republic, Estonia, Spain, Italy- will develop their antreprenorial skills, which will help them develop succesful and durable bussines in future.

Following the project’s theme of establishing an antreprenorial mindset and improvement of negociation skills, leadership and management, the activities will be implemented through specific, non-formal educational methods, such as teamwork, play, improvisation theatre, open space methodology, public coffee house, green drama and others. An important structure of the project will be the accent on the responsability of the future antrepreneurs towards the neccesity of conserving the resources. All the activities will rely on the intercultural collaboration and peer to peer learning.

This project is carried on with the partnership of the following associations: Catalunya Voluntaria (Spain), Tmelnik (Czech Republic), ScambiEuropei (Italy) and Youth for Society (Estonia) and it is funded by the European Commission through the program Tineret în Acțiune, action 1.1. Young exchange.

VACANTES EVS EN BRESCIA, NORTE DE ITALIA, VARIOS PROYECTOS!

Tempo Libero is a non-profit organization located in Brescia, Northern Italy.

We are a coordinating organization in the framework of European Voluntary Service.

 

For the deadline of the 30th of April 2014 we are looking for EVS volunteers, to be hosted in some host organizations located in the province of Brescia (for a complete description please have a look at the files enclosed):

Title: “Advocacy For The Environment”

EVS Service period : 01.03.2014-25.12.2014
Location: Braila County, Romania

Volunteers: 4 volunteers, one from Spain

Financial rules – We cover 100% accommodation costs, food, program, visas

and 90% of international transport.

The Project “Advocacy ForThe Environment” promotes explicitly the non-formal education, the voluntary concept regarding the protection and conservation of the environment.

The project “Advocacy For The environment” will engage 4 young people from 4 European countries  who will learn about the importance of the environment, how to identify problems regarding the environment, what needs to be done for the protection and conservation of the environment and also how to work together as a team in order to achieve the objectives of this project.

The highlight of the project will be to transform the young volunteer into active responsible european citizens who will stand up and fight against the environment problems, being aware that the actions we do today will affect the future generations.

The program will combine various non-formal education activities such as: participating at various trainings that focus on the protection and conservation of the environment but also on means of doing this; visiting the town in order to identify the environmental issues, and how to fight against them; performing street animations, organizing debates, round table discussions in order to raise the community awareness regarding the protection and conservation of the environment; street actions such as planting trees involving other young people from the community,  etc.

Evs en Rumanía. Find and practice the sports which fit you the best!

Multisport Experience Sport Club from Arad in west Romania proudly presents new idea for the EVS project with a theme of sport to Erasmus plus programme with a deadline of 30 april 2014. Please read a following message:

 

Project’s stages:

• December 2014 – August 2015 – 9 months
• September 2015 – May 2016 – 9 months

Project’s content:

We feel that including more local people in sport events, as volunteers is a moral duty of modern society to improve own health by making sport. In order to do that, we need a strong promotion of the volunteering positions in these areas and a wide recognition of the work of the volunteers!

The project is also great chance of discovering and putting together all the possibilities of having sport for people of Arad city.

Tasks and objectives of the volunteers are split into 4 main areas:

1) Promote the places for local volunteers, in the activities and events which the applicant organization is realizing (select 100)

 

2) Make a research about the opportunities to make sport in Arad city.

 

3) Practicing sport at least 15 hours per month

 

4) Support the host organization in organizing activities in sport area

 

The volunteers will have the possible to choose which sport to practice. They will be encouraged to join the sports which are highly promoted by the applicant (running, swimming, cycling) but in their research, also, they can test the sports which they describe and discover for the local community.

Details of research about the opportunities to make sport in Arad city:

–          Select a group of 10 local volunteers for this project, persons who can help them with translations and guidance in the city

–          To make a research about other initiatives close to this one and contact the organizers to collect the available data, if provide them

–          To make a map of the sport activities possible in Arad city

–          To insert data on a portal about sports in Arad city

–          To discover and list the main qualifications in sport area, for which there is a formation possible in the region

–          To discover and list the main sport infrastructure from Arad city

–          To discover and list the main sport events from Arad city

–          To find out an estimation of people active in sports in Arad city;

–          To find out how many people from Arad are members of a sport club or organized in sports

–          To make relevant movies which can help the promotion of sports among the people from Arad city

EVS Aprobado 2 meses en Turkia! Gaziantep, «Volunteers touching life». Inicio 10 Mayo 2014

Proyecto de dos meses, teniendo derecho a otro EVS de 10 tras éste SHORT TERM EVS.

Destino Gaziantep! Es una provincia kurda del sureste de Anatolia. La ciudad es industrial y atrae a muchos inmigrantes pero desgraciadamente no todos consiguen un trabajo ni tienen acceso a las mismas oportunidades.

El trabajo de la asociacion GEGEM se centra en estos colectivos más vulnerables, jóvenes y niños inmigrantes, enfermos o huérfanos. El objetivo principal de los voluntarios internacionales es eliminar prejuicios y estereotipos basados en la falta de contacto con otras comunidades. Organizando actividades como cursos de idiomas para niños Afganos, talleres de cocina turca para voluntarios o deportes con adolescentes huérfanos entre otras. Resumiendo, fomentar un intercambio cultural natural y espontáneo, sin estructuras formales basado en la participación.
