Servicio Voluntario Europeo en Austria. aha Austria busca 2 voluntarias/os (18-30 años) para 2 proyectos diferentes en la provincia austriaca de Vorarlberg. Todos los proyectos están coordinados por el centro de información juvenil «aha», que opera desde 1992 en tres centros locales (Dornbirn, Bregenz y Bludenz) ofreciendo información sobre formación, empleo, tiempo libre, asesoría legal y salud a jóvenes de entre 13 y 26 años.

Los gastos de viaje, alojamiento y manutención + gastos de bolsillo están cubiertos por el programa Erasmus+.

Ambos proyectos empiezan en septiembre y duran un año, pero recibirán candidaturas de participantes de MUNDUS sólo hasta el 6 de marzo.

Servicio Voluntario Europeo en Austria. aha Austria busca 8 voluntarias/os (18-30 años) para 8 proyectos diferentes en la provincia austriaca de Vorarlberg. SVE de 9 meses en un «youth centre» de Amstetten, Austria

Servicio Voluntario Europeo en Austria. MUNDUS busca una voluntaria/o para el proyecto «Youth Center A-Toll» en Amstetten, Austria. Durante 9 meses, trabajarás con el equipo de un centro juvenil, el Jugendzentrum A-Toll.

Los gastos de viaje (275€), alojamiento y manutención están cubiertos por el programa Erasmus+.

¿Cuál es la asociación de acogida?

El centro juvenil A-Toll está situado en Amstetten y la organización está financiada por las instituciones locales. El centro es un punto de encuentro para jóvenes de entre 12 y 21 años. La mayoría de sus visitantes tienen antecedentes (sociales, religiosos, educativos…) muy diferentes. Se ofrecen diferentes actividades de tiempo libre para jóvenes (juegos de mesa, internet, música, talleres creativos, skate, basket, etc.) y además organizamos talleres de diferente temática (dj, prevención del sida, etc.). Por último, el A-Toll también ofrece a los jóvenes de la ciudad orientación laboral, legal,sexual, etc.

¿De qué trata este proyecto SVE?

Tú, como voluntari@, formarás parte del día a día del centro juvenil, trabajando 4 ó 5 días a la semana. Al principio, conocerás las diferentes áreas de trabajo (horarios, proyectos, oficina…). Una vez que conozcas el funcionamiento del centro, podrás decidir donde prefieres trabajar y aportar ideas. Durante las horas de apertura del centro, pasarás tu tiempo con los jóvenes que acudan, encargándote de diferentes actividades y organizando proyectos.

Alojamiento, comida y transporte

Vivirás en un pequeño apartamento con todo lo necesario (cama, cocina, baño, lavadora…). Está situado en una zona tranquila de la ciudad.

Cocinarás tus propias comidas. A pie, el piso está a 20 minutos del centro juvenil, pero te ofrecerán una bici para tus desplazamientos. Además, tendrás la posibilidad de disponer de un ticket para el bus regional.

Todo el equipo del centro te ayudará con asuntos administrativos al comienzo del proyecto (abrir una cuenta bancaria, conocer la ciudad, papeleo…).

Paula Bayod, voluntaria SVE en Austria: «Me encanta la sensación de saber lo que va a significar para mí»

Experiencias SVE. Paula ya ha iniciado la cuenta atrás. En octubre se marcha con Mundus como asociación de envío a Hohenems, Austria. Allí pasará un año como voluntaria del Servicio Voluntario Europeo en la asociación AHA, involucrada en el proyecto sobre cultura y juventud OJAH Hohenems.

Hablamos con ella y compartió con nosotros y vosotros sus expectativas antes del comienzo esta «sorpresa asegurada».

Desde que sé que me voy a Dornbirn, una localidad de Austria, me sorprendo imaginando en mis ratos libres la experiencia, el lugar, la gente… y me encanta la sensación de saber lo que va a significar para mí y es que, ¡aumentan las ganas de que llegue el día de irme!

Llevaba tiempo buscando encontrar una oportunidad así, y la verdad es que me encanta la idea de hacer un proyecto con adolescentes. Tengo bastantes experiencias en la educación no formal, pero el hacerlo con diferentes edades a las que no estoy habituada y además en un entorno desconocido, va a ser un buen reto para mí.

Los miedos y las dudas aparecen fantasmalmente, y es que la mente te hace pasar malas jugadas para que te quedes en tu zona de confort. Sé que seré capaz de solventarlas todas, de aprender de lo bueno y de lo malo.

Ahora sólo me queda esperar, prepararlo todo y no poner demasiadas expectativas en lo que me voy a encontrar, ya que será una sorpresa asegurada.

Descripción de las tareas:
Los voluntarios ayudaran  al personal de plantilla en la planificación y organización de la estructura diaria de las actividades para acompañar a los residentes a través de estas actividades.

Las actividades en las que los voluntarios pueden estar implicados (a modo de ejemplo): 
– Documentar la biografía de los residentes
– Preparar y participar en actividades para los residentes: grupos de discusión, diseño creativo, juegos, así como planificar y organizar  fiestas de temporada y fiestas temáticas, para acompañar a los residentes a diferentes excursiones.

Description of tasks:
The volunteer should support the children in their daily needs. He/she should be open minded and openhearted to make music, play theatre, tell stories, use tools: in the workshop, in the kitchen, in the forest.

He/she will be in good contact with children, team (coaches) and parents. We appreciate if the volunteer gives insight to his/her country, culture, language, way of life etc. as much as possible.

Description of hosting organization:
The “Waldkindergarden Saalfelden” is a private kindergarden, foundet in February 2002, focused on the development of the inner human potential of children, supported by “play” in natural envirenment.
We offer opportunities for creative play and work – mainly outdoor which help the children to become familiar with the elements (earth, water, fire, wind) outside and inside themselves – with the aim of self realization. We aim to support the enfoldment of human values (love, peace, non-violence, truth, right conduct) in order to support a peaceful world.

Target group: children from 3 to 6, maximum 22 children,
Extended group: in the afternoon and in July schoolchildren join the group

Tenemos 2 proyectos SVE en Austria

 Caritas St. Isidor (2012-AT-10), start october, duration 12 months.

· Diakoniewerk Gallneukirchen- looking for 3 volunteers

Learning opportunities:

The volunteers will have the opportunity to attend a German course. They will attend weekly internal course in social work and community service (Sep. – May) too.

Role of EVS volunteers:

The volunteers will primarily act as initiators of own ideas and abilities for the activities with the people but also in helping the people with dressing, shopping, cooking, going for walks, going to church, cleaning etc.. They will have the opportunity to introduce their country by cooking especially dishes or bringing in ideas. So the activities will depend from the volunteers too! Any idea is welcome!

Involvement:

Assisting in dressing, shopping, cleaning, planning of free time activities (playing, going for cinema, singing, special games, language course with people…)  of our clients etc. (see aims of the institution).  The volunteers will work two weekends a month. The work the have to do depends on the time of the day. And volunteer should involve him-/herself for 100% as we want to realize your ideas and interests in the organisation!

JUGENDHAUS & LEHRLINGSSTIFTUNG (2012-AT-3), start september/october, duration 11 months

Tasks of the volunteer:

The volunteer should participate in the different types of programme, team meetings, planning and preperation of events and he/she should take over self-responsibility. The working-field is very various and will be influenced by the interests of the volunteer.
The different tasks are:
– Team meeting, preparation and doing the advertisement of events, layout and content of flyers for youth events.
– Keeping the homepage updated and putting in the pictures of the last events.
– Support of young people when they are in the internet room in the K-Haus.
– Preparation of different youth activities (content and organisation) in sport, culture, creativity and education.
– Meeting and networking with different youth houses in the region.
The working will always be done and discussed in team, and be done by those who have interests and abilities in the different fields; and working differs always a little bit between group work and taking over some selfs responsibility.

Lehrlingsstiftung:
Concernings the “Lehrlingsstiftung”-project the volunteer should participate in two evening-sessions of the “Wohnprojekt”, which means preparing the evening meal with the apprentices, joining the organization of the evening (having a cinema-visit, film evenings, playing games, playing street soccer, volleyball,…) and guaranteeing the fixed bed-times (for the apprentices).
The volunteer is also involved in the “Lehrlingsstiftung” (connected to the K-Haus, where apprentices live) were he/she is in contact with 25 young people.

The different tasks in the Lehrlingsstiftung start at 4 p. m. with a
– meeting with the workmates about what happened during the day. During the “kitchen service” the EVS must follow and help the two youngsters charched to prepare the tables and to take the meal from the mean kitchen downstairs. The same youngsters must clean the room aft…

• Arche Tirol is an international community of disabled and non-disabled people, who live and work together. The life at Arche is based on the Arche’s international charta, which highlights every person’s unique importance and dignity. The Arche Tirol was founded in 1992 and is a Christian – ecumenical community. Arche Tirol maintains contacts to many other Arche-communities in Europe, Africa and all over the world.At the moment 10 people with mental and multiple disabilities live in two houses, one of them is situated in Gries and the other one in St. Jodok (4 km distance). The people of the community share their everyday life, eat and work together, go shopping, go on excursions, holidays and organise leisure activities, be creative etc.
  The 10 inhabitants of the Arche Tirol are supported by a professional multicultural team.The volunteer will support the multi-professional team at Arche in St. Jodok, where six persons, aged between 20 and 50, live. The volunteer will participate in various aspects the daily work and will be able to contribute with her/his own interests and strengths to the project. She/He will be part of the team and learn a lot about working with people with different disabilities.Service duration: 01.02.2014 – 31.01.2015 (12 months)Arche St. Jodok is situated at the countryside of Tyrol. There are trains (hourly, 30min journey) to Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol.
