Period between 14-23 March 2014 in Strumica, Macedoia.The project is about European Citizenship and will involve Macedonia, Serbia, Portugal, Romania, Italy, Spain and Croatia.The main target group of the project are high school students who are on the cross road to choose their future – will they study or will they work.
After high school, after turning 18 we become adults, we have rights and obligations towards our community. But do we know this? Is turning 18 just a legal right to drink or turning 18 means more than that?
The objective of the project are:
to involve 36 youngsters from 7 European countries in intercultural exchange and allow them together to learn about the concept of Citizenship, what means Citizenship;
to analyze all aspects of being a good citizen and learn about the rights that go with it;
to film a movie filmed in local communities and during the exchange, that will help youngsters from across Europe to hear about Citizenship;
to organize local quiz on the topic Citizenship with at least 30 high school students on the last day of the exchange;
to straighten cooperation between partners and provide space for youngsters to recognize and understand diversity in Europe, practice tolerance, respect and provide space for sharing our cultures.
Each of the groups involved in the project are composed of 5 people in total (4 participants and 1 leader).
As a group – make a research on the topic of Citizenship in a national context within YOUR country. Make a short presentation.
As a group – find at least 5 people from your country and ask them the question – What does Citizenship means in your opinion? Are you
European Citizens? What does this means to you? And FILM THE ANSWER !!!!
As a group – think how you will present your country to the rest of the group. You will have a National evening to organize as a group and present your cultures, tradition, songs, dances, food. Bring as much as you can promotional material from your country and share it with us, food, snacks, drinks ect.
The venue of happening will be in Strumica, Macedonia and the hotel accommodation Hotel Central Strumica. You will be accommodated in double, triple and four bed rooms – mix nationality. Each room has a bathroom.
Accommodation and full board meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are covered by the hosting organization.

The airport in linked to the city Skopje by taxi and by bus. Taxi will cost you 20 EUR maximum, Bus will be less than 3 EUR. BUS: If you choose to use bus to arrive, here is the link of the main bus station in Skopje http://www.sas.com.mk. Regular bus lines connections are available to Strumica.
TRAIN: There is a possibility for you to arrive on the train station in Skopje which in fact is at the same place with the bus station just different flour. There are only few train connections Skopje – inner country. We recommend to use a bus to Strumica.

Mundus – Un mundo a tus pies ha firmado un acuerdo de colaboración con la Red Española de Albergues Juveniles (REAJ) para facilitar la movilidad.
Des de el mes de enero los voluntarios de Mundus cuentan con el Carné de Alberguista y todas las ventajas que ello conlleva, con descuentos no solo en las pernoctaciones si no también en transporte, museos, restaurantes y parques temáticos. Así mismo el Carné de Alberguista está reconocido internacionalmente y es válido para utilizar en todos los albergues nacionales e internacionales.
Actualmente existen en el mundo 4 millones de alberguistas con carné de alberguista en uso y cada año en los 260 albergues de REAJ hay más de 3 millones de pernoctaciones.
Estamos muy contentos de poder ofrecer a nuestros voluntarios el Carné del Alberguista gracias a la colaboración con REAJ.
La entidad polaca de Varsovia Polska Fundacja Roberta im Schumana busca 12 voluntarios para dos de sus proyectos en el marco del programa Erasmus +. Se trata de dos grandes oportunidades para realizar un Servicio de Voluntariado Europeo.
Voluntariado con personas con discapacidad
Oferta de voluntariado para 8 jóvenes españoles entre 18 y 30 años, no hace falta que tengan experiencia pero si que estén motivados. También que en su estada tengan ganas de aprender la lengua polaca. Se valorará que los interesados sepan alguna palabra en polaco, frases cruciales y algo de vocabulario. Esto es importante ya que van a desarrollar su actividad con niños y jóvenes con discapacidad que no hablan inglés.

El pasado 20 de febrero Mundus – Un mundo a tus pies – impartió una sesión informativa i formativa sobre programes europeos en el Espai Cabestany, centro de referencia de jóvenes tutelados y ex tutelados.
La charla la impartió María a técnicos que trabajan con adolescentes. Des de siempre Mundus hemos tenido un gran interés en acercar el voluntariado también a la población en situación vulnerable. En este sentido y con el nuevo programa Erasmus + consideramos necesario este encuentro que se desarrolló estupendamente.
En la sesión informativa presentamos Mundus y también el nuevo programa Erasmus +, con las nuevas acciones, organización de los proyectos, y posibilidades que ofrece. Así mismo el taller sirvió para resolver dudas, compartir experiencias y crear un vinculo que esperamos alimentar con el tiempo.

Eligibility
They are looking for volunteers aged between 18 and 30 years, legally residing in one of the Program or Partner Countries. They seek a balance of varied ages, genders and nationalities. They are not looking for experienced volunteers but those that would learn a lot during the service. Apart from personal motivation of volunteers the requirement is volunteers’ strong will of learning Polish language after selection procedure successfully ends.
For the vacancies within Project 1, they need volunteers to know a few crucial phrases and already have substantial vocabulary of Polish at the moment they start their EVS.
For vacancies within Project 2, Communicative English will be a strong advantage, because of the character of many volunteers’ tasks and international activities of the Schuman Foundation.

Orfeas Organization that is a host/send/coordinating organization in Greece is running Youth Information Offices in cooperation with the Municipality of Xylokastro- Evrostinis, the Municipality of Velo- Vocha, and we host/ coordinate 22 long/short term voluntary placements all year long.
Above of our long term projects we coordinate we are running a short term program that is described below and we would like to present for the 17th March deadline in the frame of Erasmus+ program.
About the background of the youngsters we can host: Τhe EVS placements for youngsters with fewer opportunities to join the Program. The profile of the volunteers is youth with less opportunity, typically youngsters with educational difficulties, cultural differences, social-economical and/or geographical difficulties..etc.. For most of them this could be the first time to travel abroad, to have international experience, to experience being European citizen and they are given the opportunity for mobility.
