ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Training Course «Learn, Involve,Lead» aims at helping participants to identify key personal characteristics and qualities and explore aspects of effective leadership both in their personal life and in their youth organisations . By being active in their organisations to influence the society, to act for a change and to create new opportunities for themselves and their peers.
The training course will take place in Yerevan,Armenia and will last 7 days (excluding travel days) from 09-17 March 2014. The Training Course will involve 24 participants from Armenia,Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova,Turkey,Italy,Spain, Romania (3 participants from each country).
The working language of the project is English!
The Training Course will be held in Yerevan, Armenia. The participants will be accommodated in “JR’s House Hostel” in double or triple rooms, with shared bathroom . Towels and bed sheets will be provided. Hostel has all the facilities and free WIFI. Here are some pictures of the hotel:
Accommodation , 3 meals per day, 2 coffee breaks will be covered by the organisers.
INTERCULTURAL EVENINGS: Prepare for our intercultural evenings. Participants should bring some typical food and drinks from their country . You will also have a chance to present Your country – presentation should take not more than 2-3 minutes. Be creative!!! Share with other participants things that are interesting (which cannot be found on Wikipedia or YouTube!).
Participants will be asked to present/promote their NGO during our Organization Fair… Maybe a small speech which will explain what the NGO stands for and even some promotional material to give out to our other participants.(brochures, photos, presentations, examples of previous projects etc.).
TRAVEL COSTS & REIMBURSEMENT
70% of your travel expenses will be covered by the organizers with the support of Youth in Action Programme.
Following the guidelines of the YiA program the travel back must be realized by the participants on direct way within a maximum of 2 days. In case of longer stays or indirect travelling (holiday travel etc.) there is no chance of reimbursement of travel costs.
The reimbursement will be done at the end of the training course in cash after getting all original documents.

Currency in Armenia is ARMENIAN DRAM (AMD) 1 EURO = 530 AMD You can exchange money in banks, or in many exchange points.
